This is a layered piece made from silk organza printed with my photographic image of an iris. The background is bamboo silk which has been printed with many different techniques. Both layers of silk have been backed by wadding and a backing cloth and have densely quilted with free machine embroidery.

It has a hanging sleeve at the back.
